College students go through stress from different sources. First, commuting between the work place and school can put students under lots of pressure. Despite the fact that all schools and universities in Chicago are easy to access by the CTA, students can be frustrated when they get stuck in rush-hour traffic trying to make it to school. In addition, Working students are under more stress than students that don’t work. They spend more energy at work before they come to school, and this can affect their education negatively. One of the biggest problems that stress college students is paying for classes. Most students get pushed to get a part-time job, just to pay for their classes and to cover their daily expenses. Sometimes that part-time job doesn’t cover everything, so people try to work full-time and then experience more stress in order for them to get by. Finally responsibilities can also keep students from doing well and cause them more stress, especially a married couple with kids or single mothers, where most of them are busy taking care of their kids. Then there is no time for them to be focused on school. Nonetheless, Stress is part of our daily life and we need just to learn how to deal with it.
